LEGO® 21327 Typewriter

UK LEGO® Hire – Typewriter (21327) – for the thrill of the build

Celebrate classic design and mechanical ingenuity with the LEGO® Ideas Typewriter (21327) — a beautifully engineered display model inspired by vintage manual typewriters.

Designed especially for adult builders, this highly detailed set features an authentic moving mechanism that brings the model to life. Pressing the keys activates a working typebar system, carriage movement, and return lever, showcasing clever LEGO® engineering and making the build as fascinating internally as it is visually striking.

The typewriter’s muted colour palette and period-accurate styling give it a refined, timeless look, making it an ideal display piece for desks, home offices, libraries, or creative spaces. While it’s not intended for play, the interactive mechanics add a satisfying sense of realism and discovery.

The build itself is immersive and rewarding, best enjoyed at a relaxed pace by builders who appreciate precision, structure, and thoughtful design.

Available to rent from rent-a-set, this set lets you enjoy a truly premium LEGO® building experience without the long-term cost or storage commitment of ownership — perfect for fans of design, engineering, and iconic objects.
